The North Gallery, dedicated to works on paper, features serigraphs by Joe Price. Joe Price is an American artist born February 6, 1935 in Ferriday, Louisiana. He attended Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois receiving a Bachelors of Science in 1957, and did his graduate work at Stanford University. His work has been exhibited around the world.
Now retired from the College of San Mateo art faculty, Price is famous for creating serigraphs using an average of 70 screens (and as many, in one instance, as 106!).
